The published rules put Nigeria for list of countries wey qualify. Feature films fit come from directors wey get connection to Africa, Asia or Latin America, but short films na only for directors wey get connection to Africa. If more than one director make film, at least one must qualify.
To enter na free, and entries close on 1 March 2027. The announced money na total US$120,000 for seven awards. Five prizes na US$20,000 each, and two short-film prizes na US$10,000 each.
